More and more family-owned businesses in Germany are opening up to private equity companies

According to a recent study by PwC, family-owned companies in Germany have a more and more attitude toward private equity firms compared to the past. Family-owned businesses see private equity-funded companies as more innovative, international, productive, competitive and better positioned for the challenges due to the digitization than in the past. In addition, a buy-in by a private equity investor can now be imagined by the majority of the family companies surveyed. This looked quite different in 2011.
